A Word From Milly Sordo

I am a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Communication and minor in Tourism Management. I have been working at Madden’s as a caterer since 2007.

Working for Madden’s was where I first realized my passion for the service industry. Madden’s truly sparked my interest to learn more about upscale customer service. I have had the opportunity to further my education in this industry by working as an intern for Norwegian Cruise Line (Bahamas) and later through a management training program as an intern with The Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.

I have always had a strong appreciation for various cultures, being of Cuban descent myself, and the fusion of cultures that we experience every day. I was able to further expand my appreciation while studying abroad in Rome, Italy and Brighton, England during the summer of 2007. My passion for customer service and culture extends into my enthusiasm for building relationships with people.

I am thankful to take part in building relationships with you, Madden’s customers, every day while planning a variety of events including private parties within the restaurant, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, company meetings, and catered events. With our outstanding staff and Chef Madden’s exquisite cuisine, I will recreate the Madden’s experience you know and love with a special splash of your own vision to share with your guests at your next special event.
