A Word From Cara Cook - General Manager

I was born in San Antonio and raised in the south Texas city of McAllen.  Being submerged in the vibrant Hispanic culture found in the Rio Grande Valley for 18 years has carried with me to the Brazos Valley and I often reflect on the strong core values on which I was raised.  Eager to spread my wings, I moved to Bryan/College Station in 2006 and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010.  With a passion for reading, I majored in English Literature and thoroughly enjoyed the liberal arts education offered from Texas A&M. 

Since I was old enough to work, I have been employed in a restaurant.  From being a hostess in high school to my position today, the General Manager of Madden’s Casual Gourmet.  I started with Madden’s immediately after graduation in June of 2010.  Since then Madden’s has transformed an industry I have always been familiar with to a substantial career centered around one group of individuals:  our guests.  I am honored to represent this restaurant and family and can only hope to strengthen a relationship that has truly blossomed over the last two years.
