A Word From Blake Harrigan

Hello, my name is Blake Harrigan, and as the General Manager of Madden’s Restaurant I would like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit our website. If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit us, I invite you to come experience the world-class cuisine of our Certified Executive Chef, Peter Madden, as well as to enjoy the efforts of a service staff that is both individually and collectively devoted to turning your breakfast, lunch, or dinner into a truly unique and wonderfully satisfying dining experience!

Now a little bit about myself…although a current resident of the B/CS area now for over 7 years and a proud graduate of Texas A&M University’s class of 2003, most of my life has been spent living and traveling outside of the United States. Altogether, I spent 15 years living between Japan and Guam. During this time I was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to and experience the cuisine and cultures of many countries in and around the Pacific Rim: Australia, Bali, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Korea, and the Philippine Islands.

One of the few things that has remained a constant from then until now is my perpetual passion for fresh, unique, and totally satisfying culinary creations. Even as a child I was intensely aware of and intrigued by a certain mystique and romance that lingered in the air of the fine hotels and amazing restaurants we would visit. I would observe how the proper setting, paired with great food, and punctuated with great service could turn an ordinary afternoon or evening into a memory that could truly last an entire lifetime. As a result it had always been one of my earliest dreams to become a restauranteur. I feel fortunate and owe many thanks to both Peter and Tara Madden for helping to make that dream become a reality.

It is our pleasure to create a memorable dining experience for our guests, so we make frequent changes to our menu and strive to serve with excellence and sincerity.
