A Word From Amber Masso

Part Lebanese and Hispanic, I am proud to
come from such vibrant,passionate cultures
that put major emphasis on family and enjoying
life.Undoubtedly, this explains my loud, convivial
nature and willingness to try anything once. As
an enthusiast of the arts, I have deep admiration
for anyone who can use their creativity to positively
impact the lives of others, and I could not be more
proud to work with Peter Madden, a master of his
craft. A Biology major at Texas A&M, I hope to go on
to medical school in the next two years. Also, as a
very recent survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (some of our
regular guests may recall my waiting on them with a black
scarf on my head.), I am a firm believer that we all have
something that we are supposed to learn from every situation. Nothing has bought me more joy than the relationships I have formed while working at Madden’s, and I am in awe of the powerful, instantaneous connections I have been able to make with our guests who have also been touched by cancer in some way. I am excited to now be serving our guests as an assistant
manager, which will give me more time to get to know people and find ways to make their experience at Madden’s special each time. Without question, my love for serving people will carry onward from this restaurant to my practice as a physician.
